Cape St. Mary's and Witless Bay

Cape St. Mary's and Witless Bay have two wonderful ecological reserves. Cape St. Mary's is home to 24,000 Northern gannet. Witless Bay Ecological Reserve contains North America's largest Atlantic puffin colony. More than 260,000 pairs of the province's official bird nest here during the late spring and summer. You can walk to see the birds at Cape St. Mary's. Witless Bay requires a boat tour.
